WELCOME TO THE GOLD RACE

The Gold Race - A new race with a lot of history. A new city race will be organized in Skellefteå in 2024. It will be a folk festival where during the race you will pass both Skellefteå's oldest buildings in the form of Bonnstan, which is a church town from the 17th century, and Skellefteå Country Church from the 15th century. Further through the course of the race, you run through the beautiful nature of Medlefors and out onto Rovön, which is located in the river of Skellefteå. During the race you will also see Skellefteå's newest connection between the north and south sides; Karlgårdsbron, which is expected to be ready in the summer of 2024.

As a participant in the Gold Race, you run through Skellefteå's history and future. All participants are also entered into the raffle for great prizes.
Bring your friend, colleague or a sibling and run along as a team or individually. All teams receive a picknic basket after the competition and a goodie bag is distributed to all participants.
